The Association of Independent Music (AIM) – http://www.musicindie.com The trade body representing the interests of the independent music community and an invaluable source of information, support and training. If you work in the independent music sector and haven’t joined AIM yet, we strongly recommend you do.
Music Managers Forum (MMF) – http://www.themmf.net/ The the largest representative body of Artist Management in the world. They have over 400 members in the UK, representing over 1,000 of the most successful acts on the planet. If you manage an artist (or you’re an artist who self-manages) the MMF provides a lot of support and training.
Promotions teams and PR companies
Manilla PR – www.manillapr.com Full National TV/Radio & Press PR campaigns at an affordable price. And they’re very nice people too.
Prescription PR – http://www.prescriptionmusicpruk.com/ Music PR, music promotion and digital marketing agency. They know what they’re talking about and their website has a bunch of handy information too.
Good Lizard Media - http://goodlizardmedia.com Creative digital services and consultancy. There’s nothing they don’t know about getting all your online bits and pieces in shape.
All About Promotions - http://www.allaboutpromo.com An independent national radio and television promotions company. They’ve got great ears and great contacts.

Photography
Junction 10 – http://junction10.net/ The online home of ace photographer Jason Sheldon. His live performance shots are some of the best in the business – and his studio work is pretty fine too. Tell him we sent you, but just don’t mention Jelly Babies.
Vicki Sharp Photography – http://www.vickisharpphotography.com If you’re looking for beautifully natural and relaxed portraits, wedding photography or a great picture of your dog, Vicki’s your woman.
Recording Studios
Grange Studios – http://www.grangestudios.co.uk A lovely residential studio in Norfolk housed in a C17th 90 foot barn with a large recording area with rooms off the main room, popular with artists/bands that like to record with a live feel. They have a Radar digital machine (up to 192 sampling rate) in addition to 16 and 24 track 2 inch analogue machines so are geared up for everything. They also have a nice new sofa in the control room.
