We’re absolutely delighted that Liz Lawrence’s debut album ‘Bedroom Hero’ is now available to buy on CD from the Red Grape shop. Liz has been battling through the snow this month on her ’20 dates in 20 days’ house concert tour, playing to an eclectic collection of friends, fans, cats and melodramatic goldfish. Her ‘official’ tour starts in February (dates are on her website http://www.lizlawrencemusic.com)
In the meantime, click on the shop link above and get your ears around the album…..
We’re delighted that Liz Lawrence has been selected to play Music Week’s prestigious Breakout night on July 12th at Proud, Camden. She’ll be on stage at 8.40pm in the Acoustic Stable. Liz will be releasing her first worldwide single, ‘Oo Song’ on 20th August. Here’s the video:
We’re delighted to announce not one but two new additions to the Red Grape Management roster.
Black (aka Colin Vearncombe)
We’ve been a very long time admirer of Black (remember the classic ‘Wonderful Life’?). Red Grape’s Calum MacColl has worked with Black on a number of live and studio projects over the years, including studio album ‘Between Two Churches’, recorded in South Africa. Now Black is back writing a new album and in the meantime planning a headline UK tour for October 2012. We’ll announce the dates here very soon. In the meantime, watch a recent performance here:
Liz Lawrence is one of those rare young artists who is both a mesmerising performer and a talented songwriter. Still only 21 and with her publishing already signed to Sony/ATV, her debut album ‘Bedroom Hero’ is out in Ireland and pending a full worldwide release. A recent 3 track live EP ‘Live at No. 82’ has just been released on the Young & Lost label, showcasing her great voice and ability to write instantly memorable songs.
